Effective 28 September 2026
Rain collects no personal data. There is no Rain account, and the app includes no analytics, no ads, no tracking, and no third-party SDKs. Browsing history, tabs, bookmarks, Shields settings, and the Playlist stay on your device.
Rain is an iOS browser with on-device ad and tracker blocking (Shields) and per-site controls. Browsing history, tabs, bookmarks, Shields settings, and the Playlist are stored only on your device. The Playlist is videos you added from pages, played in Rain’s player. You do not create a Rain account.
Private tabs use a non-persistent data store and are discarded when closed.
On its own, Rain refreshes filter lists from their publishers: EasyList/EasyPrivacy, uBlock Origin, and Brave lists. Those requests go to the filter list publishers.
Everything else is the web pages you open and the search engine you pick. Those sites’ own policies apply.
An optional diagnostics log stays on your device. It is shared only if you export it from Settings.
This version includes no purchases.
These pages are hosted on hehe.software. Like any ordinary HTTPS request, loading this page can expose your IP address, request time, and standard device or network information to the hosting provider (Vercel) so the file can be delivered. That request is not made by the Rain app, and it does not include your browsing history, tabs, bookmarks, Shields settings, Playlist, or diagnostics log. See Vercel’s privacy policy.
If Rain’s data practices change, this policy will be updated. The current version is at https://hehe.software/rain/privacy-policy.html.
