# Privacy Policy — SNAAAAKE

SNAAAAKE is built to respect your privacy. It has no accounts, no ads, no
analytics, and no trackers. The game plays fully offline. This policy explains
the little that happens with data, so there are no surprises.

## Information we collect

We — the developer — collect **nothing**. SNAAAAKE contains no analytics SDKs,
no advertising, no third-party trackers, and no crash-reporting services. We do
not have servers, and no data about you is ever sent to us.

## Information stored on your device

Your game progress is saved locally on your device, in the system's standard
app storage. This includes:

- Your longest word and lifetime letter count
- Which typefaces, editions, and modes you have unlocked
- Which daily words you have already played
- A cached flag recording whether you own the Specimen Book purchase

This information is not personal and is not linked to your identity by us. It
stays on your device and is removed when you delete the app — with one
exception: if you are signed in to Game Center, your score (the length of your
word) is sent to the leaderboards, as described below. Nothing else ever leaves
your device.

## Apple services the game uses

SNAAAAKE relies on two Apple services. When you use them, your interaction is
handled by Apple under **Apple's** privacy policy, not ours:

- **Game Center (optional).** If you sign in to Game Center, SNAAAAKE submits
  your score — the number of letters in your word — to the daily and all-time
  leaderboards, associated with your Game Center identity. Your name and
  identity on the leaderboard are managed by Apple. If you do not use Game
  Center, no scores are submitted. You can disable Game Center in iOS Settings.
- **In-App Purchase (StoreKit).** The optional "Specimen Book" purchase is
  processed entirely by Apple. The app only receives whether the purchase is
  active — it never sees your payment details.

We receive no personal information from either service.

## Children

SNAAAAKE does not collect personal data and is suitable for players of any age.
Game Center and purchases are Apple features governed by your device's parental
controls and Apple's own policies.

## Data retention and your rights

Because all game data lives only on your device, you are always in control:
deleting the app removes it. Leaderboard entries are managed through Game
Center — you can remove them in your Game Center settings with Apple.

## Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. The current version is always
available at this address, linked from the app's App Store listing.
